This night of dancing fun will have mini classes in it to help everyone on to the dance floor.  We will start with a beginners 30min class at 7.30.  If you have 2 left feet, bring them both with you and we will sort you out.  The party will be held in the bar - where else!

Yet another Groove night of fun and frolics on the dance floor and with the weather as it is you will feel as if you are on your holidays.  This is a great opportunity to put your dancing in to practise.  We will be dancing Salsa, Merengue, Rock n Roll, Bachata and teaching you the Argentine Tango.  Dig out that flowery shirt and summer frock to join us on the dance floor.

This party is ticket only as it will include food.  There will be a soft drinks bar, so if you need some dutch courage feel free to bring your own drinks.

 

War Time Dance

Groove Academy are working with 2 charities to create an enormous event that is the 'War Time Dance'.  The theme is typical of the 1940's when the posted military would mix with the locals at the dance.  the music of the time was Big band and Rock n Roll.  We will be hosting mini classes to teach you how to Rock n Roll so no experience required.

Refreshments will be provided by the WI as a reflection on the community of the time.  The bar will also be open
