We love to help you to raise money for the charity that is close to your heart. We can help by hosting themed events that create a fun activity, which encourages people to take part. Themes that popular are Hot Salsa Night, a 1940's event or a Rock n Roll jig. Fund raising organisations we have worked with include; The Donna Louise Hospice - War Time Dance. This was held in an aircraft hanger with 80 people on the dance floor, all dressed in 1940's clothes. Gnosall Lions - a series of themed dance night. Over the years we have taught the local community Salsa, Rock n Roll and Argentine Tango. All events were fully subscribed!! Lepra - Zumba in Schools. We have taught in Staffordshire, Shropshire and Derbyshire for Lepra with their schools campaign to make the children aware of the suffering and the difference their fund raising can make. Regularly teach Yr7 Zumba to thank them for their fund raising efforts.
Groove Academy are a great, pleasant & professional dance company.
They can be relied upon to be on time & you know the pupils will have the best time ever.

Dance and dance workouts can really help the children express themselves, improve their confidence, enhance their social interaction and stimulate laughter. We have been asked to support the curriculum by providing instruction based around themes or to satisfy a particular learning point. Groove Academy regularly support local schools and here are a few examples of our work; Weston Road Academy - We worked with the languages department to help promote the school to Yr5 students from feeder schools. We taught Salsa/Spanish. We have also taught Zumba to Yr10 girls as part of their PE sessions St Michael's Primary Sch - We annually taught a themed dance as part of Arts Week. The bespoke dances have included International dances, animals, bugs and beasts as well as transport. Yr1 have also had a series of lessons of Zumba. Stafford Grammar School - As part of YR10/11's PE we have taught Zumba, Salsa and Rock n Roll
I would like to thank you for the outstanding work that you are doing with our sixth form students in their weekly Zumba classes. They are always fully engaged in the activity and absolutely love the the dance routines that you choreography for them. They would not sweat so much in any other session! They really appreciate the lengths you go to in order to produce new and varied sequences put to fantastic sound tracks. Thank you for all your efforts.
